Metalurgy Career, Wartime memories, Hobbies and Vehicles

A collection of recollections and articles written by Vin Callcut including memories of growing up during World War 2, notes on significant employers during a career in metallurgy and remarks on hobbies and vehicles through the decades.

These pages were originally included in the website ‘oldcopper.org’ which was a retirement project that produced a list of many makers of copper and brass and their marks. Management of that site is now in the capable hands of the Antique Metalware Society.
